On the mornings of the 2nd Saturday and 4th Sunday of each month, Rill members and volunteers gather together to tend the land and community. On any given workday members may be busy clearing and piling brush for fire safety, planting native oaks and grasses, removind invasive species, gardening in our community garden, grading and ditching roads, fixing things, or taking care of children, among other tasks.
Then, in the afternoon we meet for a community business meeting. Guests are welcome to attend the open part of the meeting, always at the beginning.
The weekend of the second Saturday, we begin with a Friday evening potluck. After the meal we sometimes have a guest speaker, sometimes watch a movie, sometimes play games, and sometimes just hang out.
The weekend of the fourth Sunday, we begin with a Sunday morning waffle breakfast, followed directly by the workday.
